The chairs themselves look great. The pictures are lame and make them look a little cheap, but they really are nicer than I expected. The vinyl is not shiny, it is matte, but that's okay because shiny vinyl would probably look gross after a while. The seat cushion is extra thick and it's not that crappy foam that flattens after a few sits. The frame is sturdy, I had a 300-pound guy sit in one for dinner and all parts are still intact (phew!). Also, the glides are nylon so they won't damage your floor
